There are many protocols published, but most are just hard copy. We are trying to dig out an electronic version that will have information on calibrations and relations to lower limits for water extraction etc. Rana

I have read a fair bit of material in the literature. Most of this seems to give instruction for fitting a line for the Volumetric Soil Water against Count Ratio data. I have had conversations which suggest that a broken or bent line or a polynomial curve may also be appropriate but I can find little backing for this in the literature.
